Fallen Eagle

The American Bald Eagle has many ceremonial uses. Sadly, on Sunday May 1 this fallen mother of three eaglets will receive a ceremony of her own. She was felled by a US Airways flight on April 26, tangled in the landing gear of a plane coming into Norfolk Airport from Philadelphia, according to CNN and other sources. RIP.
